By requesting a quote, engaging our services, entering into a contract, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Services

Innovative Colours Painting Group provides residential and commercial painting services as outlined in written quotes, proposals, or service agreements.

All work will be completed with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism in accordance with standard industry practices.

Project timelines provided are estimates only and may change due to factors including weather conditions, site access, surface preparation requirements, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Estimates & Quotes

Any estimate provided through our website, phone, email, or enquiry form is intended as a general price guide only based on the information supplied at the time.

A formal written quote will be issued after assessing the project scope. In many cases this may require a site inspection.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of quoting. If additional work, preparation, repairs, or previously undisclosed conditions are discovered during the project, the quote may be adjusted accordingly.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change if:

The scope of work changes
Additional preparation or repairs are required
Access conditions differ from what was originally described
Materials or product specifications change
The project start date is significantly delayed

Variations to Scope of Work

Any changes to the agreed scope of work requested by the client after the quote has been accepted may result in additional costs and/or changes to project timelines.

All variations will be discussed with the client and may require written approval before additional work proceeds.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required before work commences. Deposit amounts will be outlined in the written quote or agreement.

Payment terms may include:

Deposit prior to commencement
Progress payments for larger projects
Final payment upon completion of works

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final payment is due upon completion of the project.

Late payments may result in:

Interest charges where permitted by law
Suspension of work until payment is received
Recovery of outstanding amounts through appropriate legal channels

Cancellations & Scheduling

If a project is cancelled or rescheduled by the client after materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled, Innovative Colours Painting Group may charge reasonable costs associated with:

Materials purchased specifically for the project
Labour scheduled for the project
Administrative or preparation work already completed

Clients must provide notice in writing for cancellations or significant schedule changes where possible.

Access & Site Conditions

Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the work areas during the scheduled project period.

This includes ensuring that:

Work areas are accessible and reasonably clear
Pets and obstacles are removed from work areas
Electricity and water are available where required

Innovative Colours Painting Group is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from:

Restricted access to work areas
Undisclosed hazards
Structural issues or unsafe conditions
Other site conditions that prevent safe work from proceeding

Additional charges may apply where significant preparation or access issues are encountered that were not visible during quoting.

Surface Preparation & Repairs

Painting results depend heavily on the condition of the surfaces being painted.

While reasonable preparation will be carried out as part of the agreed scope of work, Innovative Colours Painting Group cannot guarantee the performance of coatings applied to surfaces that have:

Structural defects
Excessive moisture
Failing substrates
Previously applied incompatible coatings

Additional preparation or repairs required beyond the quoted scope may result in variations to cost or schedule.

Colour Selection

Final colour selections are the responsibility of the client.

Clients are encouraged to confirm colour choices prior to project commencement. Innovative Colours Painting Group is not responsible for dissatisfaction with colour selection once paint has been applied.

Additional costs may apply if repainting is required due to changes in colour selection after work has commenced.

Weather & Environmental Conditions

Exterior painting work is highly dependent on suitable weather conditions.

Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to:

Rain
Excessive humidity
Extreme temperatures
Wind
Other environmental conditions unsuitable for paint application

Innovative Colours Painting Group will not be liable for delays caused by weather or environmental factors beyond our control.

Liability

Innovative Colours Painting Group will perform all services with reasonable care and skill.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the provision of services is limited to the value of the services provided under the relevant contract or quote.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of use, inconvenience, or financial loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.

Website Content & Intellectual Property

All content on the Innovative Colours Painting Group website, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of Innovative Colours Painting Group unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with our services will be subject to the applicable laws and regulations, including those under Australian Consumer Law.
